History

Elizabeth Neil has been working within the industry for more than 20 years. Graduating in 2001 with Distinction, an Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Working for 12 years in the non profit sector as a Financial Officer and IT Officer, Liz’s responsibilities ranged from GST and tax, Budgeting, Payroll, Award compliance and Information Technology Services.

Liz became a freelance bookkeeper from 2005 specialising in setting up financial records in MYOB, bookkeeping and compliance. Liz became a registered BAS Agent in 2013.

2018 is the beginning of a new era with the birth of Little Bird Bookkeeping and it is the aim to establish the brand as a respected business in the areas of assisting small businesses and non profits to meet their obligations for their bookkeeping needs.

To Liz, birds symbolise communication and freedom which are both important aspects to running a business. Little Bird hopes to communicate vital information to businesses that may help them to grow and develop. Liz hopes that with her bookkeeping services that it will assist owners to be able to have more freedom from the day to day grind of business. Little Bird was built on the concept of being little you can still make an large impact in helping others.
